I particularly like that you can see the coffee level as you pour. So

I've been delighted with my bunn-o-matic I got used off ebay, adjustable
temp on the thermostat, works plumbed or pour over (I went plumbed).
Has the hot water dispenser on the side which is perfect for a manual
drip single cup, cup of tea or the kids' hot chocolate.

I am a fan of manual drip brewers like the Chemex or Mellita
pourover.
Things to look for in a drip brewer.
Water temp, insulated caraf, filter style.
Water temp is the biggie and why I Iike manaul drip brewers. With a
manual brewere you heat the water in a kettle, it is always hot
enough.
Plus the Chemex just looks cool.
