Subject: Brand new Gaggia Syncrony Logic - won't prime
|
I just received a Gaggia Syncrony Logic Rapid Steam machine for Mother's Day. We've followed all the instructions and tried priming the machine. I got about 2 tablespoons of hot water out and now nothing. If I turn the steam nob to fully on, the motor makes a loud clicking noise (frankly sounds dry) and after about 15 seconds, it stops and the red alarm light comes on solid. We've checked the water container and it lets water through if we push up on the filter. All the appropriate green lights are on when we start (power, coffee, and water). Does anyone have any troubleshooting suggestions? I'm starting to really need that cup of coffee!
