Can someone here point me to a how-to on changing the burrs on Rocky?
I find lots of how to clean Rocky, but haven't found a good
step-by-step on changing the burrs.

Hi,
While I have enormous respect for Dr. Ross, I've never found it
necessary to remove the lower burr carrier when changing the burr. I
put a socket (11 mm as I recall, but it's been a while since I changed
out a Rocky burr set) on a long T-handle, and use that to keep the
carrier from rotating while I unscrew the burr-holding screws. The
other thing is that you want to be scrupulous about cleaning things
before you put the new burrs in so that they aren't canted by a
particle of coffee. I use cotton swabs and isopropyl alcohol until
every bit of residue is removed, then a vacuum, and then canned air.
Also, tighten the screws down in several stages so the pressure is
applied evenly. All this is less tedious than it sounds, and pays
dividends when you have to grind something like Monsooned Malabar that
requires the burr spacing to be close to the zero.
