I have had an Alp for over three years and never cleaned it! It gets a lot of use and the inside is now coated with a thick black gunge. Can anyone here suggest a cleaning agent/method which will help me restore my beloved roaster to its former pristine condition? Thanks, -- Muskrat. gyueiw502#sneakemailmoc. To reply by e-mail:- Replace:- "#" with "@" and "moc." with ".com".

In that type of condition, I'd suggest something like Easy Off oven cleaner. Don't get it on the plastic hood or aluminum drum drive/support wheels. Craig.
