The New York Times reported favorably on cold brewed coffee (cbc).

cbc. What do alties think? Is cbc worth a try?

IMHO cold brew makes a very good base for iced coffee. A little vanilla
extract, sugar and milk (other flavors as desired) and it can be quite
enjoyable on a hot and humid day.
For the purpose of reconstituting as a cup of hot coffee later, again
IMHO, it is plain nasty.
