Our Zach and Dani's roaster finally died -- it had been "sick" for awhile. Since the hard drive crash and I can't get to Google groups from the office -- I'm not sure exactly when we bought it , but we were one of the early adopters of the roaster. I haven't been following the group as much lately -- but their web site indicates that they are getting out of keting the roaster. I was able to find one site that didn't indicate they were out of stock and bought a replacement last night -- we have a spare belt and chambers, so we can probably keep going even with the apparent end of life for the product. It's been a great roaster for us and I really hope I'm totally wrong about the end of product life. The iRoaster 2 looks interesting -- maybe for the next roaster. May all have a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year's Saludos -- Steve " I really need to spend more time on alt.coffee" Johnson real e-mail is stevejohnson42 with the @gmail.com tagged on -- you know the drill

Thanks for the link to Nesco -- we just got our replacement roaster and the manual notes as "Nesco" -- I was able to go on Google Groups since I'm not at the office -- if I follow the threads right; Nesco is part of American Harvest ; it appears the people who actually did the manufacturing are now keting it themselves. Glad to see the roaster still "lives" -- hopefully on Thursday I'll have a chance to unpack it and try it out.
