Subject: FF X5 thermostat replacement/upgrade

I'm looking for advice on replacing the thermostat on a 4 year old
X5. It looks like the electronic kind, but I'm at a loss finding any
info on-line or from the source (Illy). Has anyone accomplished
this? Is it even possible with this machine?

Upgrade? just the same 'ol $3 button thermostat.
AFAIK, no one has bothered with 'pid' temperature control on this.

I'd like a couple dozen of various temps, if you don't mind! ;-)
