Yeah, I know: the dreaded superauto. But I'm looking to get a used one, and it probably needs a new boiler, 'cause it's flashing the "MALFUNCTION 8" message. Supposedly, it's a simple replacement, but ... if anyone here is experienced with such a beast, reports please! -- dgs

I spoke with him today. He has not had exposure to this machine, as he is involved primarily with the McD's rollout. He did, however, give me the Franke service hotline and feels pretty sure they can help you with this error code. The number is 800-367-0235. Good luck....al On May 4, 1:54 am, "d.g.s." <dgs1...@gmail.com > wrote: > On 5/3/2007 2:48 PM spr...@yahoo.com jumped down, turned around, and wrote: > > > A Cimbali technician just went to work for Franke as a technical > > supervisor and trainer. I called the local Franke rep and they gave me the low-down, but... I might have low-balled the price too much on the guy who was offering the machine for sale. I'll have to call him back. The repair doesn't appear to be that difficult; it's just that the component itself is rather expensive. -- dgs On 5/4/2007 5:43 PM sprsso@yahoo.com jumped down, turned around, and wrote: > I spoke with him today. A Cimbali technician just went to work for Franke as a technical supervisor and trainer. I'll let you know when he answers my email....al On May 3, 10:00 am, "d.g.s." <dgs1...@gmail.com > wrote: > Yeah, I know: the dreaded superauto. > > But I'm looking to get a used one, and it probably needs a new boiler, > 'cause it's flashing the "MALFUNCTION 8" message.
