Subject: Help; Espresso Machine or Grinder?

I've decided upon a La Pavoni Professional but am also considering a
MACAP M5. Because of the combined price I do not want to buy both at
the same time. Hence I'm interested in opinions on which to purchase
first.
I currently use a Brikka with Illy ground coffee and from what I've
read a good grinder would go far to improve the quality of the
espresso which is my priy interest and typically once or twice a
day.
I look forward to your opinions.
