I had a pavoni but it was too inconsistent and too much work to make a
shot.

then I bought a rancillo rocky and silva awesome combo loved it! But
it was too messy and hard to keep the machine clean ultimately too much
work easier to got o coffee shop...so i gave the machines to my sister

now I am thinking of buying a super automatic but i am afraid the
coffee want taste as good as the coffee from the silva but i am very
intrigued by the La zocco GS3 but again i am afraid it will be too
messy and too much work

I am a young single professional looking for a quick cup in the morning
and maybe one after dinner and a few with freinds on weekends

Help?

Hi Salsimao,

The Expobar Brewtus II works for me. No muss, no fuss,
no temp surfing, great shots and easy cleanup. I passed
on the superautomatics as there are too many moving parts
to go wrong, and they all seemed a bit flimsy. Brewtus is like
an armored tank in comparison.

I turn it on Brewtus when I get up, and after I SS&S it's all warmed up
and ready to pull two quick double shots. After whipping up
some nice microfoam I do a quick cleanup and I'm out the door
in about 10 min from first walking into the kitchen to
walking out the door with a cup of Heaven in hand.

Most times I just leave it on for the XYL to have a cuppa herbal
stuff in the morning. I think it's really just leaves from sombody
else's backyard, but hey...whatever.

Nice thing about the Brewtus II is that I can pull shots as fast
as I want and it'll keep up with me. Would be great for entertaining.
As it is a double boiler I can steam before, during and/or after pulling
shots with no
effect on brewing whatsoever.

Just my two cents, I'm really a just a beginner m'self who just got
my learner's permit.

Good Luck!

Hehehe.
Just press the Cherry Diet Mochaccino button while dinner is cooking
in the microwave. A little bit of heaven.

It was the "Coffee is brewed at the optimum 80 degrees" that got me

Just drop a grand and get a Saeco superautomatic. or a Gaggia -- but
NOT a JURA!

and please ignore the weenies who suggest you get another BIGGER
version of what you have now.

how absurd.

I've had a Solis Pallazzo for two years now. I'm very happy with it. I
had stovetop makers for forty years before that. It's very easy, just
warm it up and push the button. I work irregular hours and have
noticed no ill effects from disuse. My main worry with it is that if
it breaks I'm sunk. I'd look into repair facities nearby before
buying. I've seen nothing about repairing it or getting parts. The
directions are in a German version of Engrish.

Yes!, the La zocco GS3, Checkout this review:
http://www.home-barista.com/pros-perspective-gs3.html It may take some
time to learn, but it will be worth it. No more desire to upgrade.
You've paid your dues with the La Pavoni and the Silvia, now reward
yourself.

Buy the GS3 and after you decide it is too messy, give it to me.

At you low usage level, I'd check to see if there were any maintenance problems
from running only a few shots per day through a superautomatic. Most such
machines do hundreds of shots per day.

You might be better off with a pod machine, the FrancisFrancis! X5 pod espresso
machine. Or, the new Illy venture. I forget the name, but they put their coffee
in a special, disposable PF, which fits in a special cube-shaped espresso
machine. It works at espresso machine temperatures and pressures and supposedly
makes a true shot of espresso.
