Subject: How can it get better?

Used the naked portafilter. PID set to 229.5F
With Malabar Gold roasted 6 days prior,
my double shot came out in 24 seconds with
5/16" of crema and flavor that should last for hours!
What else do I have to look forward to? ;-)

Wow! She's much better than I, especially since I don't do latte's and
rarely do cappuccino. I did save the link to show my not-so-interested
kids.

Only 5/16" ?? I routinely get 5/8" of crema! Really it's not the height of
the crema that matters, (to a point) it's about the taste. {;-)

Agreed, with the high % of Monsooned in that blend, you should be getting
more crema. The temperature seems a bit high - unless you've roasted it very
light. Ditto taste tho'.

Just out of curiosity, are you using Malabar Gold or a different mix?
Every blend has its own proponents and characteristics.
