Does this sound like a good deal for what is needed to be invested
over the long haul or not? It includes in the package a Francis
Francis! X5.

You'll only love it if you love Illy coffee becaue it's what you'll
be drinking for a year. I did this maybe four years ago and couldn't
wait for my year to end. I'm quite happy with the machine although I
just had to have the boiler coil replaced at a cost of $100 with
shipping ($65 of that number.) Cost-wise, however, I only saved
about $100 over buying the machine outright because the cost of the
coffee was twice what I would normally pay. Although I see they
raised the price of the machine too. So, if you're going to drink
Illy anyway, then its a pretty good deal. If not, I would go with a
different machine.

Had you discussed it among yourself, I'm sure you
could have reached the same conclusion.

Yes, "Waldo," "Mark," "Baby Jane," "Rusty James,"
"Nosi Nancy," and too many others to bother typing,
you've been reading and posting to this group for at
least 4 years now, over which time this topic has been
beaten into dogfood... so you already know the answer
to this question.

Remember this?
"I post under Mark Ferrante now. In the past I have used one other
name simply because I felt funny asking so many questions (being a
newbie to coffee perfection), some of which I thought others would
find stupid."

The only stupid question is the one you already know
the answer to.

Wow, are you that bored that you would take all that time to do the
above? Just answer the question or don't bother...

It took far less effort for me to type a simple grep
command than it did for you to type out yet another
troll question using another troll identity.

You already know the answer, "Mark."

And yet another.

Fair weight goes to Silvia users around here, ten and change on the
pound, regarded for the best quality for value, and excluding the
commercial lineup. Francis! isn't in the same league.
