Subject: Is the pump of my Rancilio Silvia expiring ?
|
The last few days I have a problem with my 1 1/2 year old Rancilio Silvia. Occasionally it takes some 20 - 25 seconds before the pouring begins, whereas normally it is in 7-10 seconds. I clean and backflush (following Randy G's guide) regularly and have done it some 2 weeks ago for the last time. I also descaled on that occasion. Is the pump dying or could there be another cause ?

Strange thing is that one time it goes right and the next time not.
