I know this has been discussed before and I have seen (I think) all of the threads on this subject. I just need to know 'exactly' where to file the ears down. In some of the threads, it was mentioned that when not done right, the PF will be at the 7 oclock position tather than the 5 oclock. So, does that mean i shave off 3 mms from the wide side of each ear? Brewer Bob

Would duct tape work? I wrapped it in a towel and clamped it it a vise. Used a hand file, not a grinder. Once you cut through the chrome, the brass files away easily. Stan
