I recently purchased a La Cimbali Domus Dosatron off of craigslist. It was pretty mucky but it cleaned up well. The pump works well, but unfortunately the water doesn't heat up --at all! I don't have any diagrams or parts list to refer to... Any suggestions on where to start troubleshooting this puppy? Many thanks for any help folks can provide

Oh yeah, BTW the model is just a LC Domus Dosatron. I can't find any other details other than it was made in 1998 --wow almost 10 years old!

I fixed it! After a couple of shots made on my NS Ellimatic, I felt energized enough to take the time to pull the back off and check the inner workings again last night...well actually early this morning. :) I discovered a small wad of paper in the hose that feeds the boiler. It looked intact so I'm hoping I won't have to pull the boiler to see if anything else is in there. After re-assembly I ran two tanks full of water thru the hot water supply. By the mid-point of the last tank I was getting a nice hot stream of water. I ran water thru the head with the screen on (yuck) and then off (double yuck) --tons of black sticky gunk came out. I had another go with the blunt end of a bamboo skewer, soft cloth, and citric acid to clean the screen and head. It was incredibly filthy. I couldn't remove the dispersion disc at first as it was firm glued to the head. After running hot water thru it several time it loosened and dropped off --for a while there I wondered if it actually could be removed. An overnight bath in citric acid for the screen and disk and a bit of gentle scrubbing with a soft bristle brush did the trick. I pulled my first shot this morning --I'll have to refine my grind and tamp for this machine the result was entirely drinkable. I'm thinking I might have to retire the Elli...
