How long has the Aero been on the ket? I want to know how many great cups I've missed already! I've been using French Press for a few years now, but the Aero blows that out of the water. I even used the inverted method right outta the starting gate! OEM paper filter and 195° F H2O and some Sidamo Misty Valley DP. It was delicious! Best cup I ever tasted. So I am now guessing that I am very near the apex of coffee quality/enjoyment as far as my equipment and technique and raw supplies are concerned. I purchase my greens from Sweetias, use a Zassenhaus grinder and now use an Aeropress. I use filtered tap water at home or distilled water when I'm on the road. I'm not sure a different filter media will make a noticable difference to me. If it gets any better than this, please don't tell me (not yet, anyway), I don't think I could handle it! Zeek! *off to make another cup;.)*

Here's a pic of the inverted method: http://www.flickr.com/photos/coffeegeek/421703764/ Here's the writeup for the alternative filter and inverted method. http://scott.quardt.googlepages.com/invertedaeropressingforbettercoffee
