I respect the collective and welcome all input on this matter but, I have been referred from a valued friend and respected coffee source to ask this. I would like the opinion of gscase on this unit. I appreciate all info and subjective content as it pertains to me with the possibility of purchasing. I will keep all involved with the results on ac for future reference. TIA http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=130089087916 Your humble newsgroup subscriber, Brewer Bob

A great deal on a purchase price is not a deal if it beaks down and takes a week to find a service person and another ten days to get parts. The fact that there is so little info available that you are asking here may mean that these machines have little track record on this side of the pond. That may or may not mean something. If for home use, there are better machines available for less. LM GS3 (I hope I got the numbers correct) for half(?) the price comes to mind. And I'm sure that it's worth every cent charged. ;) -- Robert (If the advice is free I probably can't afford it!) Right now I have none, but I could form one if one of these machines got sent to me for my evaluation, an agreement was reached on what would be tested in order to produce the opinion, and money changed hands for my time. Tell your friend that i've done evaluations in the past for manufacturers / importers, with useful results. In one case, I think parts of the report ended up being used as a training aid for their sales people. In another instance, a substantial machine flaw was detected that prolly saved the customer a good deal of headache. Your friend should email me at gscace at hughes dot net -Greg
