Subject: Nuova Point Cappa Cups - in White?

I have the Nuova Point espresso cups, and they are great. Thick walled, well made. I like the look and build of their brown cappa cups, but was hoping to find the same cup in white, not brown. Any leads? Thanks Julio

I'd ordered the brown cappa cups from them, but they mistakenly sent me the brown espresso cups. When we called to set up a return, they said they were temporarily out of stock on the brown cappa cups, but did have them in white. That was great news, and I ordered them right away. I've had them for a week and they're great.

The best I've done so far is find the ACF, non-tulip-shaped cups in white. Found them at a New Zealand Website https://secure.ozonecoffee.co.nz/products.asp?type=accessories They show an ACF 190 ml cappa cup in both the traditional brown and white (product code M58), and list the same cup in white (product code B58) Julio

Plenty of places in NZ carry ACF, the white are normally ex stock because most places have brown cups. Of course, the south NZ alties may disagree - ozone is in south NZ :) Brent >> Right.. Right.. I've been on the hunt for the "non-tulip" variety as well. I've been to EPNW multiple times, and am quite familiar with their selection. Still no luck. I may just stick with brown/red.

Cafe cups? The tulip cups *are* cafe cups. Is what you want the round style NP 020C (model "Amalfi") in white? Photo: http://www.nuovapoint.it/immagini/amalficp.jpg AFAIK, plain white Amalfi cups are longer available in this country - at least from anyone with a web site. The last people to have them, IIRC, were Forzano Imports, who had them on clearance a while back. They seem to be gone now. http://www.forzanoitalianimports.com/home.html If you're the optimistic type, you might call and ask if they still have some, even if they're not on the web site. You can get branded white 020C cups from Sweet ia's with their "skunk" logo. You might contact SM to ask if they can get them without the logos. You might also check on coffeegeek, since this was a matter of some interest over there a couple of years ago. Perhaps someone there has some current info. -- Seth Goodman

I'd love to find them as well, but I have found absolutely no luck whatsoever in all of my hours of searching on the web. I'm not sure they exist stateside.
