Friends, I've just uploaded a bunch of coffee-related photos on Flickr. Access here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/darrylrehr/sets/ Just for fun. I may add to them eventually. Enjoy, Darryl Rehr [reply to dcrehr - aht - earthlink - daht - nyet. Hotmail always ignored]

Vertical cream things? Maybe you mean the Alessi Mendini. A Philips/Alessi collaboration. I've heard it did not make good coffee, but wild modern design. Alessi does some really interesting things. Most too expensive, though. DR Ken Wilson wrote: > Funnily out of all the gorgeous gubbins shown, i would most like the small > green enamelled percolator. No, he meant the Utentra, but probably should have said "the vertical cream-colored bars surrounding the boiler" ----- and yes, Ken, they're meant to keep you from burning your hand . . . Fiona and Oofy are our two Welsh Corgis. Yes, definitely a pretty face. They live in a different Flickr set. Occasionally Fiona will eat a coffee bean that has dropped on the floor. But too much could be toxic, so I don't encourage it. Cute, though. Funnily out of all the gorgeous gubbins shown, i would most like the small green enamelled percolator. (onecupperk - no 19 - top row right) the utenta - no 7 - presuambly an early version of one of the "steam toys" - but what are the vertical cream things? decoration , insulators to stop burning your hand? Thanks, darryl, i enjoyed those. ken
