Subject: Quality Sumatran Arabica ' Super Premium ' + Grade 1
Gayo Mountain Co - Operative is looking to establish a relationship
with retailers/ roasters or importers who are only interested in '
Super Premium' quality Sumatran Arabica. We also process at our new
washing facility 'Grade 1 '. Key to our new project is quality, trace
ability and a direct relationship with the international buyer to help
with certifaction and village livlihood programes. We are the first to
rehabilitate a new facility since the peace accord was signed in Aceh,
Sumatra last year. Our farmers have faced a 30 year conflict, those who
fled families lost lives during the tsunami and in recent weeks lost
houses and land from the December floods. International. The UNDP
coffee forum have established that 20% of the arabica coffee farms need
to be rehabilitated. The Indonesian Exporters Assoc estimate that
nearly 60%% of Mandeling comes from the Gayo Mountains. The total
growing here is estimated at around 84'000 htrs. [ Biggest in Asia ]

something else I just thought of, and that's the coffeesnobs website. A
lot of green beans are sold through there, so you might want to give
the main admin guy, Andy Freeman a try as well -

Here's a few that do relationship coffees:

http://www.counterculturecoffee.com/
http://www.intelligentsiacoffee.com/
http://www.paradiseroasters.com/
http://www.orensdailyroast.com/
http://www.theroasterie.com/
http://www.rocketcoffeeroasters.com/
http://www.terroircoffee.com/

There's probably more that the few remaining adults in this group can
give you.
