Has anyone done business with this guy, Commercial Espresso in Fontana, CA?
I needed a brew thermostat for my Silvia. I called this place on
Monday,10-16, and got quotes from him, a Bill Ramirez, on both a brew and
steam stat. I told him that I needed it ASAP. The only way he accepts
payment is by check. Since we are both in Calif I decided that he would be
my fastest source. He assured me that he would ship the parts as soon as he
got my check.

I mailed my check the same day and e-mailed him on Wed to see if he got it
and if so, asked him to ship the parts so I could have them for the weekend.
He e-mailed back that he did not receive it. I e-mailed and called him that
Friday but got no answer. I called Bill on Monday 10-23 and he said," Oh...
yeah...aaw... My wife said something about getting a check over the
weekend." He then told me that he would mail the parts out that day. By
Friday, no parts, I called and got his ans mach and left a message that I
was really disappointed in his service.

Again today, Saturday 10-28, no parts. I called my bank and my check
cleared the bank on 10-20 which means he got my check no later than
Thursday, 10-19!

So, this guy who promised to ship my parts when he received my check hasn't
come through. He obviously isn't too concerned about my order and or his
service.

I gave up on him and ordered the part from Chris' Coffee yesterday.

It's now Thursday, Nov 5 and still no parts. After several attempts to get
a hold of Bill Ramirez he ans his phone on Monday, Nov 2, and said that he
lost his phone and could not reach anyone. I was the first person to reach
after he found his phone. He apologized and said that he would do whatever I
wanted. He would refund my money or send the parts "again". I told him to
send the parts and I e-mailed him my address a third time. He said that he
wanted to check with the Post Office to see what happened to my first order.
I quizzed him about how it was sent. He said in a padded envelope regular
mail. I told him that if he did not send it some other way like Priority
Mail that wouldn't do any good. (Now how on earth does he not know that?)
After pressing him again, he assured me that he would send the order out
that day.
Unbelievable...

Trivia question: what was the most recent year when Nov. 2 came on a
Monday?

amends...

Emily,

I'm sorry to hear that. Post a review on Yelp also. Maybe some other
people may read of your experience before trying out this guy.
