Subject: RO water do I need to descale

Do I need to decale my Silvia if I am using exclusively RO water? If so, how often? I did a few shots with Non-RO water and the difference was as shocking as drinking RO water vs tap water.

After about two or three years' use I descaled mine and the flushed water that came out was crystal clear with no visual hint of mineral deposits.
