Subject: Reset grinder on Gaggia Syncrony Compact?

I dismantled the grinder on my Syncrony Compact to clean it, but on
reassembly it doesn't seem to grind properly. It seems to be grinding
far too finely, the machine struggles to force the water through the
coffee, and the puck comes out very compact and wet. This is even on
the coarsest setting. Is there something I have overlooked while
reassembling it, it seemed fairly straightforward? Perhaps I need to
reset it somehow?

Make sure all of the center burr parts are in place and TIGHT!

Whoops.
I decided I had to, to get at the coffee underneath and clean it all
out properly.
