Subject: Tip of my hat to the alties!

You know, despite the all too frequent BS & infighting in this group, the
info in a recent post is exactly why I frequent AC. I mentioned a machine, I
received opinions, & I got first person how-to tips on correcting a design
flaw. That thread lone probably has saved me hours & hours of trial & error
tweaks, and probably hundreds of dollars. You guys are the BEST!

I also received valuable info that helped me choose equipment - Silvia,
Rocky, iRoast2 - and learn how to use it. No doubt that I drink better
coffee because of you. Thanks !
But... like all those groups on the Net, one must be careful - lots of
BS, word of mouth, biased and incorrect info.

It is ironic you mention the troubles and strife that will accompany
any newsgroup along with the help that you have received from the many
hundreds of posters, and the first post you get back is the negative
one.
Keep on posting man, because I too have received tons of help from the
regulars(who shall remain anonymous) and it is with humble thanks that
I tip my hat to them.
