I can't see an alternative to swapping in and out the dispersion block
and screen
whenever you switch from pods to ground coffee. You can see the pod
"kit"

I had one installed on the used Oscar I bought, but didn't realize it
at first.
Couldn't make espresso at all with ground coffee. I never did try a
pod
with it, when I realized what was going on I replaced the block and
screen
with the bigger one intended for ground coffee.
