Subject: Will not turn on: Saeco Caffe Charisma

Hi All, I need some help. Had my Saeco Caffe Charisma for about 18 months. Worked well. Last night I turned it off - and this morning it will not turn on. Seems completely dead. Normally when I turn it on there's a squidgy little grinding noise and the lights flash for a while, then its "ready". Now - nothing. Like its not even plugged in (it is plugged in!). I suspect that some sort of heat sensor or similar has been tripped (I leave it on 24/7 normally) ... does anyone have any ideas at all? Have I perhaps totally toasted something? I've opened her up to check for leaks etc - all seems ok in that regard. Any ideas? Anyone? Rob
