Subject: 17s shots but OK

Just wanted to mention the important issue of shot timing. I am getting
very nice 2 oz double shots from the Nuova Simonelli Oscar/Mazzer mini
combo and fresh roasted espresso blend available locally- I'm gauging
this by the look (red-brown blotchy crema) and taste. However, I'm
getting this most often with about 15-17s pull. My target is 25s but
I'm not there yet (just got the grinder). Should I stick or shoot for
25s and what am I missing if I stay at 15-17s?

Thanks,
John

Dial the grind out to 25 seconds, and see what it tastes like :)
