Subject: Adding spring water
|
Some posts here, plus what I found on various web sites have suggested that my use of RO water is less than ideal for espresso taste. One proposed adding "some tap water" to the RO. Inasmuch as my tap water from a community well varies from swimming pool chlorine to muddy and brackish, this would not be a good choice for me. However, I did purchase a jug of "Spring Water" from Wal Mart, which they sell in addition to their RO and distillied. The question is: what proportion of "non-RO Spring Water" should be added to the RO water to acheive a good balance? Thanks, Godzilla
