What equals a 9 bar setting on the dial?

The gauge is for the boiler. If you made a manometer to adjust your
extraction pressure as I did, then 131 is 9 bar. You adjust that via the
pump. The gauge on the front of your machine is boiler pressure and that
is set via the pressurestat. Set it for a high of 1.1 or so. No need to
draw blank shots before extracting. The group head stays at a nice even
temp.
I've talked to several owners on here and none of them draw a blank shot
before extracting. So forgo that step that you may have read about on
the home machines.
