Subject: CMA Laurentis 2 group
|
Hi, I have a 2 group CMA Laurentis machine. The left side group head works fine but the right side doesn't dispense any water. When I flip the dispense switch the water just bypasses the group head and flows through the copper tubes into the drip cup under the drip tray. I've disassembled the group head and cleaned it and cleaned the lines leading from the boiler to the group head, still nothing. When I run the left group head, I notice the flowmeter has a green led that lights up, when the right group head is turned on, the flowmeter's led is very dim or doesn't light up at all. Could the problem be the flowmeter? All of the dosing buttons work and the solenoid on the 3-way works fine. Thanks for any help! Rob

Try cleaning your expansion valve. Follow the offending tube back towards its source and you'll find the valve. The flowmeter wouldn't cause this problem, but it could look dimmer if the water is flowing through it too rapidly. Good luck....al On 30 2006 18:43:09 -0800, "cabinetbob" <oroszrob@hotmail.com > wrote: > >Hi, > >I have a 2 group CMA Laurentis machine. I took everything apart and everything seems clean, I noticed that when I turn the group head on, the water just goes out the tube that dumps into the drip cup. When I turn the left group on, which is the one that works good, the water comes out the showerhead and the tube that leads into the drip cup, is this normal? I took the boiler apart and the small tank that holds water for the non working group head does not even get any water in it, but the passages to it are all clear. I'm starting to run out of ideas.
