Subject: Caffeine persuasion

In a university study, participants were assigned to drink a beverage that either had caffeine or didn't. Then they contemplated a hot topic issue provided by the research team. Researchers found study participants given caffeine were more likely to change their attitude and agree with an opposing opinion. They say participants paid more attention after drinking caffeine and therefore were more receptive to information. I have also found it helpful when trying to convince someone to agree with an opposing opinion, particularly when they're much younger and more attractive than me.
