I recently added a calcite/GAC post treatment to my RO just upstream of the final filter (also GAC which has been in service for 9 months). I'm getting TDS readings in 200-450 range, but then settles down to a more reasonable 110 after a few moments of running the spout. Is this normal? I don't recall this every happening before (readings have always been in the 25 range) so I believe it's related to this latest addition. Perhaps it's <10 micron dust from the calcite. Thx, Mark

I've noticed that TDS reading zoom up any time I disturb any filter anywhere in the system. Putting in a new post filter will do it. My calcite treated water measures 90, so yours and mine are in the same ballpark. Dan
