Not burnt, not too light, a little stale, over packaged, perhaps not the best varietals, but drinkable, better than from the grocery. Before I started homeroasting, I bought from CmeBrew <http://www.cmebrewcoffee.com >, which I thought was less expensive, fresher, and better quality than Coffee Fool, and you get a (limited) choice of roast levels. I mostly went with "Full City Roast, darker" as Charlie (the owner) seems to roast a tad light.
