Subject: Descaler - Saeco and Gaggia

Just wondering whether it is possible to substitute a powdered descaler
from Gaggia for a 250ml bottle of liquid from Saeco in my Saeco Incanto
Deluxe?
I live in Oman and it's impossible to find descaler here so I need to
have it freighted in. You can imagine that it's *much* easier to
freight a sachet or three of powdered stuff as opposed to a bottle of
what is probably a dangerous liquid.

Yes. it is OK. -- just follow the instructions! you may have to make
up a liquid from the powder.
