Sort of interesting, especially when you check the various links on the left side. The prices seem a little steep, but I would be interested in your opinions. http://www.coffeefool.com/ Caesar

Personally I find this retailers gimmicks offensive. Why? Because they've adapted 'big' coffee's tricks to their own use. At first glance the prices don't appear to be too far out of line, until you look closely & see the price shown is for 3/4 lb, not a full 16 oz pound. This is an old trick; price your goods in a non-standard size which makes it more difficult to compare prices & with any luck at all you'll get a good percentage of sales from people who won't notice the size differences. What's next, maybe a 'little' color enhancement or chemically altered flavors. This is a deliberate attempt by this retailer to pull a fast one. -- Robert (if you buy it by the pound, sell it by the pound) Harmon http://tinyurl.com/pou2y http://tinyurl.com/fkd6r "Caesar" <ferrante276-caesar@yahoo.com > wrote in message news:a3uag2504bovk8q69m013ot84liea1dgqb@4ax.com... > Sort of interesting, especially when you check the various links on > the left side. I did not look at the site but I know here in Kailua at Wal-Mart there are bags of coffee beans that look like a pound size, but read carefully and they are 7 ounces or 12 ounces, so I agree with you Robert. It is sneaky to do and I bet people are fooled when their bag of beans runs out so quickly. It is tricky and I certainly don't approve:( aloha, Cea --smithfarms.com farmers of pure kona roast beans to kona to email
