Subject: Faema service in Houston areaa?
|
A neighbor gave up on the Expobar and recently bought a used Faema & hauled it over for me to look at. It's way too heavy for me to mess with (probably 100# plus) so I talked him into having it checked out by a pro. Does anyone have a service source in the Houston area (at 100# it'd cost too much to ship both ways)? It doesn't have to be a Faema service center, it's well out of warranty & we can get the parts needed at cost. We just need someone that might charge by the hour or flat rate to do diagnostics on it and be available for a few questions as needed. -- Robert (duck & cover) Harmon http://tinyurl.com/pou2y http://tinyurl.com/fkd6r

Oh, yes I forgot the details. 120 volt, 60 Hz, (?) watts - labels scraped away. Compact model 1 group automatic w/plumbed water & drain. There's no model number or name other than Faema. It doesn't appear too old but it doesn't look like the current models either. Which Expobar was it, Robert, and why did the neighbor give up? (Close to buying a Brewtus II) Will Robert Harmon wrote: > A neighbor gave up on the Expobar and recently bought a used Faema & hauled > it over for me to look at. Your II has two boilers & won't be a problem, but his had the HX & very little temp stability. I understand that the II has a digital (PID) thermostat also? -- Robert (duck & cover) Harmon http://tinyurl.com/pou2y http://tinyurl.com/fkd6r <Omniryx@gmail.com > wrote in message news:1152966513.038550.177100@s13g2000cwa.googlegroups.com... > Which Expobar was it, Robert, and why did the neighbor give up? > > (Close to buying a Brewtus II) > > Will > > > Robert Harmon wrote: >> A neighbor gave up on the Expobar and recently bought a used Faema & >> hauled >> it over for me to look at.
