Subject: Gaggia Titanium - Brewunit blocked?
|
Hi, Just had this machine for 2 days. Today I wanted to try the rinsing program, but after a while it said 'Brewunit blocked' in the display. The manual says contact service dept. I can't get the brewunit or the dregdrawer out, they're jammed :-( Is there any smart tricks I can try before sending back to the store? Switching off and on does nothing but it starts making very loud 'clicks' and then displaying 'Brewunit blocked' again. I need my coffee! :-) Regards, Claus

There may be a solution, a screw in the brewhead can be removed allowing one to pull it out and -- hopefully reset the machine At least there is in Saeco. There you'll find the procedure for unlocking the Gaggia Titanium with pictures. Good luck. Regards, Ken Fivella

Thanks a lot, You mean http://www.partsguru.com/ right? (Googled for Services unlimited and Gaggia and they came up) - the other http adress doesn't seem right.. Great guides on that page for removing the brewunit - unfortunately the brewunit in the Gaggia Titanium is a little different than the ones pictured, but i think I got it allright. But - I'm afraid to void the warranty if I do something stupid ;-) Are there anywhere I can find info specific on the Gaggia Titanium and a jammed brewunit? But thanks both for your help, you have been most helpful :-=) regards, claus "Ken" <loloone@yahoo.com > skrev i en meddelelse news:1156169305.663715.156070@h48g2000cwc.googlegroups.com... > > ct wrote: >> Hi, >> >> Just had this machine for 2 days.
