I don't know what the original post was about but I've had the Hearthware roaster for 6 years with no problems. I just need new ear plugs once in a while. :o) The roast is consistent if you give it time to cool down between roasts. I wish the roast size were larger. Maybe someday I'll spring for a big one but can't justify paying the price right now.
