little spamming & flaming don't seem so threatening to me. But if you're
from one of those pansy-ass states then I can understand your ruffled

Maybe only caffeine free coffee should be consumed in some homes?

I agree that citizens who pass background checks and go through the
required classes, etc, should be allowed to carry concealed weapons.
Studies have shown that those states (BTW- Ohio- my neck o' the woods,
is one of those states!) that have passed a bill allowing the carrying
of concealed weapons have had a significant reduction in crime! I'm
sure there are exceptions, but I'm talking in general.

OK- enough of that- what in the hell does your post have to do with
coffee, or were you getting bored, and looking to start an off- topic
argument? Personally, I'm happy to see most of the former BS disappear!
It's nice to see an alt.coffee where the posts are actually about
coffee and espresso! Please don't "stir the pot", if that indeed was
your intention!

"Make my day" is irrevocably associated with the .44 magnum, not the
.357.

Actually, armed people tend to more polite to one another than unarmed
ones, for obvious reasons. But Texas, where people are widely
separated by dreary stretches of urban or natural wasteland, may be
the exception.

It is well known that eskimos are reputed to have approximately 50 words for
snow, allowing them to make fine distinctions in what is a dominent material
in their everyday surroundings. What is less well-known is that Texans have
about as many words for bullshit, for the same reasons.

" I know what you're thinking: "Did he fire six shots, or only five?"
Well, to tell you the truth in all this excitement, I've kinda lost
track myself. But, being this is a .44 Magnum, the most powerful
handgun in the world, and would blow your head clean off, you've got to
ask yourself one question: "Do I feel lucky?" Well, do ya punk?"

heheh!

here in Australia we're allowed to carry pens as long as we've passed a
basic literacy test. But they're the only dangerous weapon allowed to
be carried concealed.
Hold on .. I just remembered. There are some fanatics around who carry
bibles....

Here in the US all the spineless liberal sissy democrats carry a pen.
You can spot them a mile away because they're sickly looking meat-nemic
vegetarians.

Just another example of the basic differences between Aussies and Yanks
.. here we're all trained in kindergarten to kill with pens...
