Subject: Is coffee the most versatile beverage?

I mean, what other beverage can be used in so many ways and liked by so
many people, regardless of how it is used.
Everything from espresso to colored water and you can find a coffee
lover. Hot or cold doesn't matter either. Mixed with other things?
Sure! Chocolate, espresso, whipping cream and whipped cream makes a
delicious drink. As well as the various flavors of syrups and flavored
coffees. Milk, sugar and coffee go well together in all kinds of drinks.
Shakes, cakes and ice cream, sure plenty of those too.
Drip brew, pod/t-discs/k-cups for the single cup users, espresso
machines of all prices, designs and uses. Not to mention vacuum pots,
percolators and french presses. And there are even more exotic and
different ways to make that cuppa.
What other beverage even comes close to this?

Plain old water. without which, you would not even have coffee.
