Now all the research and futzing around with this upgrade is done and the order is in. The Alex won out because it literally has everything I can imagine an excellent espresso machine can have. Huge boiler, HX, E61, boiler and group gauges, pourover or plumbin at the flip of a lever, rotary pump. And the reputation of Chris Coffee behind it. All for a very fair price. It was down to the Alex, Vetrano, Brewtus or Bricoletta at the end. I should have it next week and my new (used) Super Jolly this week.
