Subject: La Marzocco CUPS

Dear Community,

does anyone have an idea on getting some genuine La Marzocco espresso
cups?
I've already ordered some at EspressoParts (quiet expensive, not the
cups but
shipping and customs - about =80 100,00 for 6 cups) which crashed
yesterday on
the floor.

Any ideas? I'm based in Germany.

Thanks & BR,
- Malte

I'm not sure that the cups that EPNW sells are necessarily sold in markets
other than the USA; they may be made for the USA market specifically, being
as the ownership of LM is largely USA based, plus their distribution is
greater in the USA than in other places.

If what you seek is the specific cups (without the logo) these are made by a
large Italian porcelain company and should be readily available in Germany
and the rest of Europe. If you simply want cups of some sort with the LM
logo on them, you should be able to contact the German importer of LM
equipment and find out where these can be sourced in Germany or Italy. It
may turn out that these exact same cups are offered for sale by an LM dealer
near you, and a phone call should answer that question.

Are the tolerances on the LM cups any better than the LM baskets?

58mm tamper is a VERY loose fit in an LM cappa cup. If you require a tighter
fit, I suggest you have Reg turn you a 72mm tamper. :-)
