Subject: La Marzocco LineA steam wand question


I have a LineA 3AV with what I assume are the old style steam wands
that only move front to back. I have seen that the new model has the
new swivel style steam wands on them. Has anyone done a retrofit or
know if it is possible?

Tim some early models (Linea) used these and all machine used by *$.
You can simply replace the fixed wand with one that swivels from ESI.
Part L171 is a complete wand. You will need to take out the old valve
and will need some of those ring pliers.

You may as well also order the rebuild kit from ESI part L165/K and do
it at the same time.
