Does anyone live near H-town? Does anyone know any local roasters where I can get some freshly roasted beans? Also, what are some websites that will ship freshly roasted coffee beans? Thanks, Byron

Among local roasters -- Lola Savannah and Cafe Maison, both in the same building just north of Minute Maid Park. Java Coffee & Tea Company, Fondren at Westheimer. House of Coffee Beans in Rice Village. At least a couple of the Whole Foods stores roast daily in the store. There are others as well. Online, dozens. Try intelligentsia.com for starters. I'm sure you'll get other recommendations. "Pathos about Latte" <amasarai@yahoo.com > wrote in message news:1161870092.911512.37690@h48g2000cwc.googlegroups.com... > Does anyone live near H-town? There is a small roaster in the Mid-town area, and a larger one out at the Beltway and the Katy Freeway as well, in addition to the other roasters already mentioned. d

I'm not in houston, but Cuvee is a local roaster worth mentioning, and I've heard good things about Mitalena, also in Houston. Cuvee - http://cuveecoffee.com/ Mitalena - http://mitalenacoffee.com/

I get my fresh roasted coffee at www.nataliescoffee.com - They roast it the day you order it and ship it the next day. It usually takes 2 days by priority mail to get to me and it costs $4.55 in s/h - Last year I bought 6 bags to give as gifts and the s/h was only $9 - not bad for 6 bags Oh yeah - it's awesome coffee too.
