I am in the market for a new coffee maker and i am looking for a a 12 cup
unit with a Thermal pot
The one that i am looking at is a Cuisinart # DTC975BK
Any suggestions????????

The best cup of coffee I ever had is the one I make for myself every
morning. I use the Senseo single-cup pod-brewer. I've had the thermal
pot type, the drip, the press, etc., but for a perfect cup every single
time in just a few seconds, I adore the Senseo, using Java-One French
Roast pods.
At least 10, more like 15 or 20, of my friends and colleagues have gone
out and purchased this brewer after I give them a sample. I know it's
not what you had in mind, but I wish I could reach through the computer
screen and offer you a cup - you'd understand!

Don't know if it's "12 cup" or not, but Zojirushi makes a decent auto
drip coffee maker with a good thermal jug. Here's Amazon's offer on it:

Have you looked at the Cuisinart # DGB500 pr DGB600
Both are "Grind and Brew" pots. I love mine.
