Does anyone have a copy of the service manual for the Mazzer Super Jolly on disk that they could send me or point me to it on the 'net? I finally got the grinder from Tagex today. Twenty-eight days is ALL it took to get here. The grinder looks great, even better than their description. I have a package of old beans that I'm going to pass through it, then send the grounds off to a QA guru I know who'll put it through a sift test (his term, not mine) to see how consistent it grinds. It ought to be interesting comparing the results of the Super Jolly against the Gaggia MDF, Solis 177, & the old commercial Bunn I also had tested by him. So far the Solis delivers the most consistent particle size (kind of wish I'd never sold it even if the ol' ball & chain insisted it couldn't stay on HER counters). I have the parts breakdown and a basic operations manual I could scan in. If the consistency of the grinds doesn't exceed the last tests performed by far, replace the burrs. This is one of the finest opposing burr grinders on the market. FWIW, if your Bunn grinder didn't surpass the Solis or the Gaggia, then the burrs needed replacement or an adjustment was off. After reading your more recent posts, I'd be inclined to think it was the latter....al On Fri, 09 Jun 2006 20:15:11 GMT, "Robert Harmon" <r_h_harmon@Zhotmail.com > wrote: >Does anyone have a copy of the service manual for the Mazzer Super Jolly on >disk that they could send me or point me to it on the 'net? > >I finally got the grinder from Tagex today. I just got mine on Wednesday. I paid for it on the 14th. Not as long as it took you but I too was surprised as the condition. The timer/switch is worn out but the finish is great. -David Williams Robert Harmon wrote: > Does anyone have a copy of the service manual for the Mazzer Super Jolly on > disk that they could send me or point me to it on the 'net? > > I finally got the grinder from Tagex today.
