Does anyone know if this is ok to use in your machine? Or has anyones used it before? My wife wants to get water delivered because we live in an old building and the water has some serious taste/quality issues and I wanted to see if it would be ok to use in a Slivia. The only thing about the mineral content on the lable is it says 2% calcium. JUst thought I'd check with you guys here. Thanks

I seem to recall 500 ppm as one of the upper limits of one of those regulatory agencies with an interest in drinking water... so I would have to guess that you've misread the label, or omitted some important contextual cue(s). At any rate, the water can't really be 2% calcium.

The website says this about their water (all in parts per million): Calcium 70 Magnesium 7.3 Potassium 1.0 Fluoride 0.1 Total Dissolved Solids 240 Alkalinity (CaCO3) 200 PH 8.35 Dan "fixedgear" <tom5000@hotmail.com > wrote in message news:1155090498.658790.303660@h48g2000cwc.googlegroups.com... > Does anyone know if this is ok to use in your machine? Their website says as much, a spring running through stone. The pH is the give away even if you knew nothing else.

IMHO, don't use anything with this much mineral content in any espresso machine. if the ONLY other option is distilled, use that.
