So just in the last week, a new Italian store has opened up in our
neighborhood. The wife went by yesterday to check out what they had for
our favorite beverage, and found two things.
1) Brasilia grinders. Once again, hard to find a lot of information on
them online. They're made by Rossi apparently, but there's even less on
them than on Brasilia. Anyways, the curious thing is that their entry
level grinder (for ~$600!), the BFD, is listed on their website as having
30mm flat burrs! (http://www.brasilia.it/en/grinders/bfd.htm) This seems
wrong to me, but I don't have the knowledge to say for sure.
2) "The best cappuccino ever!" This is coming from a woman who worked in
and eventually managed a coffee shop for two years, and obsessed over
her shots like few people I've ever met.
So I'll clearly have to check the place out, if not for the grinders then
for the drinks. :-)
