Anyone else using this combination?
Can you tell me what number setting on the grinder you use?
How long approx. does it take for you to pull one double-shot ( i never
use the single shot basket) ?
So far I'm finding best results at around setting or 3 or 4, and it
takes almost 120 seconds to pull a shot.But what I notice is despite my
consistency I always get best crema on the first shot, and the next
shots dont have as much. Why is that? Must be doing somethign wrong...

The problem with this is that the numbers on the Rocky are arbitrary - your
"3" may be someone else's 6 or 0.
There is a true "zero-point" landmark - this is the point at which the burrs
begin to rub against each other. Very carefully with the grinder running but
empty turn the burrs lower until you hear the singing sound of metal on
metal rubbing and note the number (and then back off immediately) - this is
your "zero-point. This could even be a "negative" number - 2 or 3 or more
numbers below 0 on the dial. Most Rocky owners report their espresso grind
setting to be approximately 7 above the zero point. So, if for example the
zero point is heard at -2, set your grinder at 5.
But this is only a starting point -from there you need to go up or down
according to your shot timing. 120 seconds is WAAAAAY too long to pull a
shot - you want something closer to 20 (to 30) than 120.
