Subject: Presto Coffee maker - replacement carafe lid

I'm experiencing a problem where coffee runs down the outside of the carafe
during the drip process. Google reveals that this has been discussed in the
past and the fix is a different carafe lid. I've already contacted Presto
and they are kindly sending a new lid, however the rep thought that all the
machines currently available should already have it. Does anyone know if
there's an easy way to tell the difference between the old lid and the new?
